Design Awards shortlist releasedThe Australian Publishers Association (APA) has released the shortlist for the 2008 Book Design Awards.Published 13 February, 2008 The Australian Publishers Association (APA) has released the shortlist for the 2008 Book Design Awards. Penguin leads the way with 13 finalists across its various divisions, while Random House features on the shortlist ten times. Murdoch Books and Allen & Unwin are in the running for eight prizes each. ‘Once again we were overwhelmed with entries for the nonfiction and illustrated categories,' APA spokeswoman Kathy Fulcher told WBN. ‘Judges were impressed with the entries, particularly in the education categories.' The full shortlist can be found at the APA website. Winners will be announced on 22 May.
