Organisers have promised that the fifth Ubud Writers & Readers Festival will be ‘dynamic and full of surprises'.
To be held in Bali from 14-19 October, this year's festival will include sessions on crime and punishment, food and the late writer Sutan Takdir Alijshabana, ‘the father of modern Indonesian as we know it today.' Guests will be announced next month.
