Oprah Winfrey has announced that the next book to be featured in her influential book club will be A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle (Penguin).
Penguin will partner with Winfrey to host a series of ten global, free, live online ‘interactive classroom discussions' on the book, led by Tolle in discussion with Winfrey.
‘Penguin is one of the world's few truly global publishers,' said group chairman and CEO John Makinson. ‘All of us are honoured to be working with Ms Winfrey on this ground-breaking project.'
Makinson described A New Earth, first published by Penguin in 2005, as ‘an unforgettable manifesto for a new way of life.'
