Despite a court injunction preventing the screening in Victoria of the 13-part Channel Nine true-crime TV series Underbelly, on the basis that it could prejudice an upcoming murder trial, the books that the series are based on remain on sale. The ‘Underbelly' series, co-written by Age journalists Jon Silvester and Andrew Rule, is published by Sly Ink, distributed by Gary Allen. ‘We've had no indication that the injunction could apply to the books,' Gary Allen sales manager Kristy Allen told us. ‘And of course when you ban something, people want it more, so we expect the books to continue selling very well!'
