Wait for Thiele books overThe last two children's books written by Australian author Colin Thiele will be released later this year.Published 11 February, 2008 The last two children's books written by Australian author Colin Thiele will be released later this year. Thiele died in September 2006 at the age of 85. He was the author of a number of well-known Australian classics including Sun on the Stubble, Storm Boy, Blue Fin and The Fire in the Stone. Thiele had been commissioned to write three children's books, the first of which, Miss Bilby, was published in December last year. The second two, Billy Bilby and Lizard Festival will be released in May and September 2008 respectively. A new biographical work on Colin Thiele - Sincerely Colin Thiele: A Final Tribute by Stephany Evans Steggall - will be launched in June this year.
