Waiting for Mummy by Korean author Lee Tae-Jun and illustrator Kim Dong-Seong, published in Australia by Melbourne-based independent publisher Wilkins Farago, is on the shortlist for the picture-book section of Germany's premier prize for children's books, the Deutscher Jugendliteraturpreis.
The shortlists in all categories can be seen at the award's website. The winners will be announced at the Frankfurt Book Fair on 17 October.
