A biography of a famous local - possibly Australia's first superstar - came first on our Most Mentioned chart this week. I Am Melba is the story of Nellie Mitchell, later Nellie Melba, who fled married life in Australia for London to fulfill her dream of being a famous singer. Her affair with the heir to the French throne overshadowed her life and caused a Lady Diana-style pursuit by the press. Melba died shortly after an unsuccessful facelift, and flags were flown at half-mast.
