This year, we've seen some books top the the weekly Most Mentioned chart with startling leads - but this is not to be one of those weeks. Murray Bail's The Pages, which had quite a lead last week, had a much more modest amount of mentions this week. Another local book, Maggie Hamilton's What's Happening to Our Girls? came up a few times as well. Hamilton wonders why girls as young as five years-old are wondering about their looks and already thinking about shopping.
Most Mentioned in the Media this week:
1 Pages, The by Murray Bail
2 When You Are Engulfed In Flames by David Sedaris
3 Household Guide to Dying, The by Debra Adelaide
4 What's Happening to Our Girls? By Maggie Hamilton
5 Writing Class, The by Jincy Willett
